- “For each individual to come towards correct relationship to the whole, there must be “good enough” inner witnesses. Thich Nhat Hanh says the next Buddha will be the sangha – the community of practitioners. We must become responsible for our own light, our own shadow, no longer project these out onto others. We don’t need more gods. We need elders, guides, teachers, therapists, witnesses, rabbis, and priests, to help us find the gods within ourselves as we journey towards conscious participation in the collective body.” Janet Adler

Wheel of Awareness
- The Wheel of Awareness is a profoundly healing contemplative practice developed through an understanding of neuroscience by Dr Dan Seigel.
- This practice uses the metaphor of a wheel with the hub being awareness – and the four quadrants of the wheel being what we can be aware of: our senses, bodies, mental activities and relationships. The first two are focused awareness practices, the third open awareness and the fourth is kind intention integrating the 3 pillars of contemplative practice. Awareness is also brought to awareness as one deepens and can provide a place of deep rest and connection that often opens transpersonal spaces. We will also learn a series of movements based on Qi Gong to integrate the 9 domains of mind – interpersonal, identity, temporal, bilateral, vertical, memory, narrative, state and consciousness.

- 2. Neuroscience
- 3. SoulWork
- 4. Love
- For those familiar with SoulWork, this practice strengthens your conscious self (observing ego or inner witness), connects you with high self and teaches you to be with your inner selves/parts. From an IFS perspective, it is very helpful in unblending and connecting with Self energy.
